Final 2A AP poll

Simple formula. Look at the numbers in the "L" column an you'll see how they are ranked. AP is a complete joke, even though other than a couple of outliers it's accurate, but that's only because of their record. With a good bounce or two Huntingdon is capable of winning the whole thing, and there's only a couple of teams on the poll where folks "in the know" would make them the 'dog if they were betting on the game.

You can say the same Riverside with a couple of bounces they would be 10-0 going in to round one

You could say the same for most teams in the poll, but y'all are getting respect at #4...you can't argue about any team listed being unreasonably high either, just that Huntingdon and Watertown seem too low. Tyner probably should be someplace within the top 10 too.

Don’t count out Jasper. A healthy Taye at QB for them makes a big difference with his legs. Not many are faster. My bold prediction with them is depending on his health, they either get out in the second round or go to state to represent the East.

To me, it looks like you pegged it. Memphis teams don't play outside Memphis and you can't tell if the top two or three from there can compete or not, because you don't know just how bad those teams that they're mercy ruling are.

I don’t claim Huntingdon to be the best or even the next best team, but if there are 6 teams better than them in 2A then it must be pretty deep.

If you saw him run friday I don't see how he will be healthy but we are sure holding out hope.  The kid has always been undersized but never been hurt.  I absolutely hated seeing it in his senior season when he has put a couple of rough years behind him and been pretty successful in his last 2 years.  Not sure if we can beat meigs but I definitely like our chances a lot better with him.  You are spot on though with your prediction, if he can't be productive then we will bow out next week and will be a disappointment to Marion fans.
