We about to pull tullahoma right off that high horse they are riding on come Friday!!!

Not on a high horse just confident and ready. We're playing some solid ball right now, so why wouldn't we be confident. I mean ya'll are confident right? So are you on a high horse? If you're blessed to still be playing right now then you should believe with every fiber in you that your team will prevail!!

From the Tennessean:

Pearl-Cohn (11-1) at Tullahoma (12-0)

When: 7 p.m., Friday

Barion Brown nearly led Pearl-Cohn on a game-winning drive the last time these two teams squared off. The Firebirds eventually turned the ball over in Tullahoma territory as the comeback bid fell short with a 24-21 loss.

Brown missed last week's game against Hardin County due to a suspension but Jayden Robinson was able to carry the load in a 31-21 win. With Brown's return this week, the Firebirds get their top offensive threat back in a highly-anticipated rematch of the Region 5-4A championship.

Spears' prediction: Pearl-Cohn 28, Tullahoma 27

Kreager's prediction: Pearl-Cohn 35, Tullahoma 21

Excuse for what exactly? The truth is the truth, you let us get the caliber of kids ya'll get year in and year out and we have a few ships too. I'd actually say more ships but that's all hypothetical so neither here nor there. At the end of the day we have a great team that has the ability to go win it all. We can ONLY beat ourselves, NO ONE IN THIS STATE CAN BEAT US BUT US. We have a solid team, not a couple of players that carry our team. We're focused, starving and ready to take everything we deserve!! Ya'll be safe on your trip here friday for this WAR!!

Saving this post because it won't age well

    • Well nothing new, the Mustangs are really talented again this coming season!  They very well could go undefeated in regular season.  We shall see what happens in postseason.  I think the path to state title game is a little clearer than years past.  I think the Stangs are going to be really good and I think the traditional teams around in 2A are not going to be as strong.  It should be a fun season!
    • I would not put too much stock into the UH over Eagleville. From what I understand they were pretty banged up in that tourney. Catcher was out, they were throwing pretty deep in their bullpen and a few key players were beat up in their infield. Sounds like they are pretty healthy heading into the district tournament. Look at their schedule, they played some really good teams.
