I will be gracing everyone with my presence tomorrow night at Maryville. I am glad the Maryville administration has taken the extra steps for coordinating a legend like myself's arrival and departure tomorrow in your town. It's not everyday you get graced with the presence of a true living legend. I have been to several matchups throughout the years at my once proud alma mater in Marion County, but they have recently fell on hard times again so I will not grace them with my presence until changes have been made to my liking and more of the extra baggage has been removed from their sideline. I have had several speaking engagements the past few months so I am highly anticipating this battle. My entourage is scheduled to arrive at this game promptly 1 hour before kickoff tomorrow night. I would like for someone to make sure the press box is exactly 72 degrees and not one degree hotter or cooler. When you are a living legend like I am you pay close attention to the fine details. This game will be a battle between two great clubs. This game features two living legend coaches walking the sidelines for their respective clubs. My publicist and research coordinator informed me that Coach Hunt was a former player for George Quarles and now coaches at his alma mater. He played at Maryville before going off to college and then returning. He truly sounds like a true living legend. Both of these fine coaches have already achieved legend status coaching by evidence of their previous state championship appearances. Coach Creasy patrolling the other sideline is looking for his first win on the hallowed grounds of Maryville HS. This will be my first trip to visit you people so you need to take advantage of your rare opportunity.  I have heard stories about this legendary stadium. My entourage will escort me to and from Maryville tomorrow night. As always I will be available around the concourse during the pregame rituals for autographs. RebelRon and others should make sure they are there to breathe some of the same air a legend like myself breathes. I have been keeping an eye on these young lads all season. Several young lads on both sides have a chance to achieve legend status. My publicist was going through some online records and told me to keep my eyes on several outstanding young lads for both of these fine clubs. I will have my personal police escort from the premises as soon as the game ends so I ask that everyone stay back and don't interfere with the entrance and exit from the concourse. I will be heading to Tyson McGee Airport immediately after the game and will not have time for any autographs at that time. I have a very important speaking engagement tomorrow afternoon in South Dakota that I must attend. A legend like myself is simply stretched thin during this time of year. This will be my second time to see the young lads from Oakland this season and my first time to see the young lads from Maryville. I am looking forward to a festive environment tomorrow as many young lads try and achieve legend status. Always remember achieving legend status is a choice!

    • Looks like South Pittsburg added some more talent!
    • So much talk about an investigation about student record manipulation and then everything has went silent. Has anyone heard how the investigation is going?
    • Basically what you're saying is schools can basically bully students around and get away with it because they are protected. I agree to a certain extent but when schools decisions to keep knuckleheads on staff starts costing kids careers and a college education there is a problem. Our school system last week had a teacher supposedly push a kid and the parents went to the law and the teacher is suspended. So I wouldn't say that they can just do what they want without liability. This case don't pass the smell test because the coach had already been fired before and she got fired after a year on the job. Sounds like the student was right in this case on the outside looking in because the coach gets fired after one year. How many coaches get fired after one year?? Not many.
    • Problem with DB football goes beyond coaching. Like Waco said. Thr band is the main focus of their community and school. They have the resources to be a championship level team. Guarantee Ballard or Witten could have them nationally relevant at some point but everyone down to peewee would have to buy in and at DB we all know that would never happen.
