I watched some of that game.  impressive game and very impressive track record!  how do you think they would do against CPA or LA??

IMHO, LA would be a great matchup. However, CPA was too one dimensional. I haven’t watched much of them this year, so I’m not sure if it was just their game plan for the championship game or just how they’ve typically played this year…

A game with McCallie would be my preference of them all. We handled them pretty well in the Summer. However, a scrimmage is just a scrimmage…:thumb:

LA would be something to watch! IMO, Alcoa would beat CPA. Alcoa has past success beating CPA.

Back in the Summer, right before the regular season started Alcoa had a game like scrimmage with McCallie.  This with Officials,  down markers and chains. Alcoa beat them 3 scores to one. As I walked past the side of the field where McCallie was huddled after the scrimmage,  I heard the McCallie Coach screaming at them telling them "I told you Guys...this is not a typical 3A team!"

Alcoa will play any team!

sounds like it would be a fun match up!  fingers crossed...

I think LA surprised Oakland and led most of the game but couldn't quite pull it out.  LA also mercy ruled the Arkansas state champ, Pulaski Academy.  I am a LA dad, so not totally objective, but I think they could have beaten any team in the state this year. as for CPA being too 1 dimensional, they came closer to beating Oakland than any other team including Maryville.

in any case, Alcoa really has an impressive track record and has a lot to be proud of.  congrats!!
