Class 2A 2022

Saw the post on 1A in 2022 and figured I would get the conversation started for 2A.

Who are the favorites in the West and the East for next season?

In the west I would say Huntingdon right now. Riverside possibly. Don't know what they have back. Union City is my sleeper pick. Trousdale, Meigs, Watertown, Tyner and Marion County in the east.

Marion depends on what changes are made to the offense.  Same offense,  same 2nd rd exit.  The pieces are there.

If H2O can replace their QB then they will be a legit State Championship contender. Their starters were mostly freshmen, sophomores and juniors this year.

Can a 7th grader start at QB in HS?  Asking for some Westview fans...

I think if its  a k-12 school then they can. I might be wrong though.

LRDAO…better change something around the jailhouse.  Word is some may be looking to enter that portal.  You think im joking but im not.

Riverside returns most of their Defense , on offense they lose QB1 RB1&2 WR1 and both Tackles which is a lot of offense to replace TE1 who is also RB1 was the only kid to score against westview with 3TDs not to mention a solid kicker.

Likewise, yall better do some heavy recruiting.  Losing the Hixson and East ridge players, Scottsboro last year.  Stoney better check his place of employment and see if he can find some more.

Huntingdung losses a lot in the trenches. That will really hurt them.

LRDAO…I garuntee the second round exits arent gonna fair to well around the jailhouse when all was heard is jailhouse high was bringing home gold.  That Starky man better get some new plays in that playbook.  You think im joking but im not.

TC likely to take a slight step back next year, would look for H2O to win the region again, I will say Tyner returns a lot, they could be the favorites in the east if they can find a way to maximize their athleticism
