First, I dont care if the guy is late 20's or early 60's. Being a Head Football Coach is about the most underpaid job in this State. You put in about 100 hours a week and its not all just coaching foo

Any good coach is working 12 months. There is more to being a coach than just working with the team during practice/games. Fields must be maintained, eligibility must be maintained, cloth and equipmen

Isn’t a turd a little extreme? Lol.. Did you really just call you coach a turd?  I’m sorry but this made me laugh and I can’t stop now. A turd… like feces…I got this visual of Chet in Weird Science or something. :D

Well maybe but probably not.You should have seen some of his play calling this year.SMH!

Their head football coach is making 60,000 a year.

Hardly call that underpaid.

You clearly dont understand coaching salaries...

In a county with little to no tax revenue, the head football coach, who is in his late 20's, makes more than every employee in their school system except Principals,and 2-3 people at central office. 

Explain to me what I don't understand.

His salary is 60, and he received a pretty sizeable stipend on top of that.  Show me how much Smith, Macon, Westmoreland, FCS coaches are making?

      That would have been Coach Benjamin who was his legal Guardian and the DB coach.  I was the LB's Coach that was barely older than the players (I was going to UT for school and had started at Greeneville since my Sophomore year when Z coached there and he asked me to help coach)

      Going on over a month now and still nothing, rumor mill or not I think a decision needs to be made. Maybe they don’t have anyone wanting it and maybe rumor mill don’t need it they are taking this long to come to an agreement.

      Gibson County proved last year you can win it all with 6 players and if I’m not mistaken they only played 5 in the championship game. I would expect them to be good by end of season but I think losing Hart is a huge loss.  Summer camp gives teams a preview of what to expect and it’s exciting to see where teams are at. The Fillies return 3 starters and the 6th man that is 6’2” and I think she is going to surprise folks this season.
