Should be a free agent. When he left an article said his insurance situation would be worked out in December and he could go wherever. Said he wanted to work with Summertown "this season" and principal hoped they could work it out in the spring but Rice was "noncommittal" on a return to Summertown. Would be a great hire for Cornersville but I think a better fit at another Marshall County school. :popcorneater:

Lol. You don’t have opening yet, do you?

Watching Mt Pleasant highlights on the unapproved website and wow! Huge challenge for the shorthanded Rockets this week. Unbelievable turnaround for the Tigers. This team won 1 game in 2020 and now this. As a guy on here says over and over - Coaching Matters!

Also as a guy on here says: It would be so Cascade —to lose to Summertown  and have Forrest upset Mount Pleasant to sneak into the playoffs…

Us? Right now we're focused on Mt. Pleasant and not missing the playoffs for the first time since these seniors were 3 years old. When our season ends hopefully everything about the program is evaluated. If Cornersville doesn't tolerate 5th in the region why should we?

Forrest should have WON this division and be falling downhill toward a final 8 matchup with either LC or Riverside. End of story. Loretto wasn't anything and Cascade's gonna Cascade. Forrest lost this with the same incompetent recruitment, LACK OF retention, LACK OF player development LACK OF game prep and TERRIBLE in-game decisions by none other than Coach Eli. He cannot connect with other humans. Fetterman comes to mind if you watched that fiasco last night.

Only Moore was superior "on the field" as their announcer likes to say after every play. YES WE KNOW IT'S ON THE FIELD.

That announcer is the worst! Please send him packing with Eli.

Crazy how Loretto isn’t anything. Yes they are 4-5 but they’ve played some good teams. Only one bad loss on the schedule. But it’s about positivity right?

General said for you to take your 1800s farm boys and go to the house ;)

Congrats on the season. Good luck on trying to grab 2nd in the region!

The cascade win is positively Loretto’s best win of the season… And nobody who saw the game would favor them in a rematch! :-)

For, it was Senior night. Senior fullback, Huie, is the emotional musician-catch him at the IronHorse blowing the room away on electric guitar—Anyway, he emptied his tank during the pregame ceremonies and ran the ball like a mere mortal-nobody was getting out of his way— like the Forrest  players who were  dodging him all night. Also, our top D-lineman, Powell, was out with a shoulder injury— And yet, Loretto still could not move the ball save for two bombs over the top…Cascade moved the ball effectively but killed every drive with a fumble-4!….Next time!

It was more a knock of Forrest's season than another shot at Loretto. After the game against the Mustangs some in the Forrest program were trying to spin it as Loretto is an elite 2A team this year. Fact is Loretto 2022 is comparable to LHS of the past 3-4 years and Forrest  is in a recession. Best win so far in 2022 is against a 5-4,   #4 seed Cascade. Other 3 wins are against non playoff Forrest (3-6), Collinwood (2-7), and Summertown (1-8). Loretto positively has some very good players in spots but overall they are a .500 2A team.

I would definitely take Loretto in a rematch. Once our boys finally woke up from the long bus ride it was over. Our boys score on big plays been doing it all year. Should have scored more. Missed some opportunities down the field. Both teams missed opportunities. Get out of here with your excuses. Talking about missing players, we have been missing our best receiver for the majority of the season….
