Yeah "lock down" would be an exaggeration, but it's easily their best run defense in over a decade. Secondary is probably a step down from last year due to youth, but still decent.

Were probably underdogs but if we play a smart fairly clean game, I like our chances.

Unaka looked good I was impressed honestly. Small numbers still but a solid looking team.

I always like it when these whipping posts teams improve. Sad to see schools get beat down every week, every year.

Wouldn’t surprise me if NG won a close one or Unaka blew them out. Not sure NG can score enough to stay in the game

Idk when these SRs were in 8th grade, I saw them put up like 40 on Avery County. Then the next year that didn't even have a team did they?

I've lost track of time but it's been 3 or 4 years ago when our not so good jr high ran all over them.

Hampton was supposedly underdogs last year against PF but won 20-14(I took Hampton). Just wondering what Hampton and PF return from last year and any word about scrimmages and etc in 2022.
