Yeah Henry didn’t have much. Also starters didn’t get to play much. Those games make for some conditioning. Again the young girls stepped up and we gotta have more and more of that. We gotta focus on JC and then The Huskies from Green County next week at home. That’s a BIG Game.

Street and Blair will be starters next year and I think my girl Eowyn will get a lot of playing time.  She's really developing her game and has played lock down defense all season.  I think the best is yet to come for the lady landers.

Any word on the injured Girl’s MRI. I’m hoping it’s just a knee sprain

My daughters said Sahara was walking without crutches today which is a good sign she may be back for tournament.  The lady landers have proven to still be a force. The real test will come Tuesday against NG.

Was really hoping mu buddy hv warrior could've got the upset over SG.  That would've been a big time win for hv

Happy Valley was a much better team tonight than their record would indicate. I was at the game.

Two of SG's starters got into early foul trouble and coach opened the floodgates and played everybody in the first half. SG's sixth player did not suit up tonight, which made some difference in the game. HV had a double-digit lead, with what seemed like zero turnovers, but SG narrowed it down before the half was over.

SG's starters came out in the second half, got into a groove, and outscored HV 19-5 in the third. Happy Valley's #34 is an excellent player, knocking down threes and playing tough but was slowed down a bit in the second half. If SG hadn't gotten a good lead in the third, HV could have won the game in the fourth.

District should be interesting. It's great to see good competition in District 1. Much credit goes to Happy Valley for playing a good game on the road. Rebel Hill is not an easy place to play.

One criticism: HV needs to have more fans travel to support their team like Hampton did a couple of weeks ago. IMO, in makes a difference.

Unaka looks like UH girls without a certain player on the court

Yeah and she got D'd up tonight.  Hampton is very much a good team and we'll have to earn it at their place.  We live rent free in their head though and I believe if we win again it'll be even tougher for them come tournament time.

    • Now that wouldn’t surprise me a bit. That has been going on heavily since the days of Larry Kerr @ AC. One of the major reasons CC has never really had much at all, barring about 2 seasons in football. AC milks it dry.
    • Interesting how quite it is. Rumors are going around that Anderson County is being looked at by TSSAA for recruiting violations with the Campbell County transfers.
    • I heard from a member of the teaching staff that there has been a dispute over use of the game field between football, and girls lacrosse team. Girls had a game and wanted to warm up and football coaches did want to leave. The football coaches came down hard with some bad vulgar language and the girls lacrosse backed down. What a classy act BHS athletics has become.
    • The lawsuit requests a jury trial. Sable Winfree has extremely competent legal representation. FYI - her lawyer represented the Warren County school system for years, and I believe he knows what constitutes a reasonable lawsuit.
