Impressive that virtually none of this thread is about football

I get it ...I will leave it at this. People come on here very proud of their school, team and facilities, regardless of who tore up the bathrooms or not, its a shame that it happened. I would hope H'ville would not be part of that destruction, just as I would hope Blackman would not deface their own facilities or anyone else's either. While it is not football, it does go to the core of discipline. How your team acts on and off the field says everything about leadership.  As much as I think of Oakland as the Evil empire across town  I know this type of behavior under Creasey would not be a topic .... ever!  It's speaks to doing things right and being responsible.

The late John Merritt (TSU) once said that if one of his players were acting like a fool there was a great chance that if he went and knocked on that players front door a fool would answer the door.  This type of behavior is a direct result in a lack of parenting and discipline.  Yes, I understand that things have changed over the past 30+ years but one thing that has not changed is that teenage boys need a strong male figure in their daily lives.

It’s more important to worry about your kid getting taught transgenderism and Critical Race Theory, rather than focusing on basic parenting fundamentals.

so I don’t get accused of being off topic for the 7th time….. Hville wins 6 games this season.

Goldenbears although I usually don't agree with you, it is good seeing you post again.

As for the thread, Hendersonville is always solid to good. You can usually count on six or more wins.

Blackman has the talent to be pretty good. Second year you would want to see improvement across the board, especially defensively. Haven't seen them yet but have heard it's moving in a positive direction.

Offensively they have no excuse to not succeed, not sure what they bring defensively. Thrashing Hville 21-7 in 2 quarters is pretty impressive though.

Coach Merritt was a good one . I was fortunate to spend some time with him and the basketball coach. As of this moment, I can’t remember the name of the basketball coach. He was a good man. I first met both of them at special Olympics.

    • Oh yeah, I’m sure you are different people just always on the same thread for some reason, always agreeing with each other, perhaps just a bunch of dorks who would like to ###### and moan about high school football coaches do a lot of other students, so you make a football team and get a yell at them. When they do something wrong, but I’m sure you don’t like that, do you?   and I’m sure I’m aware of where you get information. A teacher who was on the coaching staff but was fired after the new coaching and staff came in and realized he actually had to start taking his assistant job a little bit more seriously than just wanting to make a little extra cash on the side, hardly even showing up to most practices, should’ve left with his buddy to go to Farragut. I’m sure he could get him a defensive coaching job, but I doubt he will be there in three years. Looking at the way Farragut is currently going.
    • It may be hard to believe but there’s more people than me that think you guys are a bunch of losers.    I’m sure the coaching staff, yourself included, cursed at a bunch of high school students. Nobody could name more than 3 coaches on staff due to the constant turnover.
    • That's complete BS.  Nobody at ACHS has access to CHS student records unless a transfer is made from CHS to ACHS.
    • Trez's last scandal has died down, so I guess this is there opportunity to be the best 4A team playing in 2A a la Sissy MTN.  At least they won't be in a Z-district with 1a teams in the regular season.
    • Facts...until someone takes down the Rebels they should be the favorite. Got loads of young guys salivating at the opportunity to prove themselves and get a 3peat! Blazer how is Region 1 looking this year?
