Been watching GP for about 35 years or so, Honestly if alcoa  goes 4a , next year will be our  year to contend for championship. when you get 50 plus scored every year by no.1 3a team you don't know  how good you are. But i think we are good.

If Alcoa moved up you guys would have a great shot of going deep. Would love to see it.

If we had stayed healthy, Hampton 2015 would have been the most complete and better all around IMO, for what that's worth.

Let's agree that each of the past greats excelled in areas others didnt. Hard to really pick out one. Era's mean a lot

Think it was 2007, that was a really good team also. We've had 4 or 5 that stands out amongst the rest.

Yeah no one will be fooled, we know who you are and you know who we are, just come down to who can execute the best on both sides of the ball. Neither team has anything to lose except pride, games means nothing but I'm sure both want to win in a bad way. Sounds like a Great night for football. Hope to see you tomorrow night.

    • Did this happen? Does anyone know? Ripley has their HC job posted on the bulletin board over the weekend.
    • Coalfield definitely isn't the same team they've had the past few years. They are still the favorites to make it out of their region because of their pitching. They have 1 arm that sits low to mid 80s and 2 other arms that are mid to high 70s with good off speed stuff. If you can avoid their top 3 bats in their lineup then you have a shot to beat them. Their 4-9 hitters are average at best. Wartburg's ace was able to shut them down last week in the game Wartburg won 4-2.
    • It is the longest season. Plus, 30 games a year. No Christmas break. I would say basketball is the most time consuming.
