If this game was at Fayetteville I would attend. Good luck to both teams. I know what McKenzie has from last year. Scary looking ball team. I watched Fayetteville dismantle a Red Bank team that’s still in the 3A playoffs. They are scary.

Should be a dandy.

Come on over to WTn.  We will save you a seat.

City wins if they cut out about 50% of their normal 100+yds in penalties. IF they don’t i could see this game getting away from them because they have a hard time containing their emotions. They have gotten by in large part by just pure athleticism. Coaches must fix the offsides, illegal procedures, false starts, and mostly the ridiculous number of personal fouls.

Sounds like a big “if”. From previous posts it seems as though the personal fouls and excessive penalties have been apart of the majority of Citys games. Don’t see them correcting that in one week.

I agree. It’s been a big problem all year. Maybe getting worse. Last night was pathetic at times because there was a flag on every other play. But i must say that the officiating was very poor. They seemed to be looking for any possible reason to grab the hanky. Once one flag flew they all joined in like lemmings diving off a cliff. I sorta think they were getting off on their 2mins of being the center of attention and listening to the announcements. Yes call obvious penalties but sometimes you just gotta let the kids play ball.

I hope refs aren't a factor next week.  Better when they are seen and not heard.

    • Wow I haven't been keeping up with softball had no idea.Been keeping up with baseball and we are slowly fading there.I will check it out!!Thx
    • It is what it is. Sorry DFL.
    • One of the biggest loosing teams in Mid-State are the Macon County Tigerettes. I have noticed that the roster is smaller than in the years past. All the senior's have quit. We have a great group of Jr High players coming up. I sure hope they don't loose them, like they have lost so many others this year. With this young group of girls coming up, a weaker district, they should have no problem going to State.
    • It was updated this season, because I did it.  Linder is the school's all-time leading rusher at 5,156 yards with 2,436 of those coming in 2014.
    • Oh, I’m sure you did. Maybe you heard just a rumor, but considering we have a football practice field and a soccer field that’s frequently used for lacrosse games and practices, I highly doubt it. Let me change that. I know for a fact that didn’t happen.   Glad you finally stopped attacking a bunch of high school students, but still obsessed with the coaching staff for some unknown reason, even though you could name more than three (at most) coaches without looking it up. But now come up with something else.
