ttitan27
Glad to see this matchup continue. It's become a staple of discussion at the Thanksgiving table for some years now. I think it's close.

REBELRON
Amazing that Maryville has been to the Semifinals 23 years in a row. Oakland will be the heavy favorite. Maryville is playing with house money.

Maybe, but not heavy favorite, neither program is quite what they've been the last few years, yet got to this point anyways
TOM4000Patriots
Congrats to both on a season with adversity for both. Oakland has had and still has players out from injury. Have not seen Maryville play but they will be ready. Should be a competitive game. Go Patriots!!

TOM4000Patriots
I don't know about that. The Oakland and Maryville fans dont get into specifics on injuries. We know its next man up and usually another good player is ready. I do hope Vaughn is ok. Got a good future as well. Go Patriots!!

Maryville folks posted he was injured weeks ago and he would be out for the rest of the season. The backup has done a fantastic job for them. Maryville like Oakland is next man up mentality
pepvol
It's been out in the media yes Noah Vaughn is out for the year ... One of our best RB's ever , look forward to seeing him play for Virginia , Praying for the entire Virginia Team , community and State because of the terrible tragedy that happened there .
Augustus
Should be a good game, but I do see Maryville winning.
REBELRON
Noah Vaughn is out. He is a great back. What happened is Maryville has circled the wagon's. Maryville is playing better football. I would love to see Maryville win. Last 3 times Maryville has played in the Semifinals at Oakland it has been ugly. BoardHater71
The fact that both teams have reached the state semifinals is truly a testament to the players and coaches at both places because they've battled adversity this season (especially Maryville).
