#34 and #0 running behind that big OL for HC against my Jackets reminded me of Big John Riggins running behind the Washington Redskins OL.  If HC can run the ball and do their ball control offensive game, I don’t see Page having many possessions.  I am taking HC to win this one and then to take care of business the following game against the Powell/West winner.  HC brings a Gold Ball to Region 7.

Page is really tough yet again. But, so are we.

I just want this team to make it to the big game. Whatever happens there, happens, but I want these seniors to have the chance to go the full 15 rounds. They've come up short in the semifinals each of the last 2 years. Huge game for them and the program.

I do like us at home, with the revenge factor on the line. It lines up well. Here's to hoping we can make the most of it.

    • Well nothing new, the Mustangs are really talented again this coming season!  They very well could go undefeated in regular season.  We shall see what happens in postseason.  I think the path to state title game is a little clearer than years past.  I think the Stangs are going to be really good and I think the traditional teams around in 2A are not going to be as strong.  It should be a fun season!
    • I would not put too much stock into the UH over Eagleville. From what I understand they were pretty banged up in that tourney. Catcher was out, they were throwing pretty deep in their bullpen and a few key players were beat up in their infield. Sounds like they are pretty healthy heading into the district tournament. Look at their schedule, they played some really good teams.
