I also had South Gibson & Creek Wood battling it out for at least a top 8 finish in AAA! We definitely can get better as well but I like where we are right now, we can only get better! Our girls are hungry! 

Did I read this right? South Gibson had a girl transfer to South Side? I'm not familiar enough with their roster to know which girl but that seems odd to me.

They are solid Hawk. They are Gold Ball good if they are clicking. Their guard play will determine how far they go IMO, but their guards are good. Their post duo probably best in the state. I do think us and Huntingdon both have to handle Westview’s traps and pressure. Like a Westview poster posted last night, we held Westview to 25% shooting after the first quarter and we still lost because we turned it over too much and was not agrressive enough on offense. Our guards have to play better and handle pressure better especially against Westview. Huntingdon and Westview game will be a good one Friday Night. I wished I could be there.

Very much since last season. Wilkins played 2 freshmen last season which resulted in a ton of turnovers. It resulted in those players getting experience and Wilkins saw the big picture for this year. Huntingdon has 5 solid guards that can handle the ball and 6 that can really shoot it.

The girl that was their 6 man quit before the season. She was a beast this Fall and was pretty dominant. Played AAU all over the state. Solid player. I don’t know if she is playing for South Side but I will say this. She may not be good enough in South Gibson’s eyes to be on the floor or starting but she could play for me. Solid player.

Yea we only played them this summer and I believe we won by like 25 but was up like 35-40. I am sure they have improved! They was huge

Congratulations on a good win last night for y’all. I won’t be there. We have Union City. We don’t have byes Hawk lol. GC and Westview had a good battle last night. We had our chances.

Thanks! Yea I know y’all district & schedule is tougher than ours. Our district or region is not very good but I guess we still have to play the games lol. I wish we could’ve played Westview these past few years

Yea she can ball! She leaves it all on the floor, and plays defense on your best player.

The cat is out the bag! She wasn’t eligible to play this year but she more than likely will be a Hawk next year.

AA is what I meant. I don’t know what Alcoa has but I think they have a couple of good posts. Know Gatlinburg Pittman has a real good posts. But Huntingdon has two girls that will bang with you and finishes very well. They put up 55 combined against McKenzie if I am not mistaken. They are very good and very physical.
