2023 Huntingdon Mustangs

I’m hearing that this squad will be fun to watch and defense looks stout.

Thought the Mustangs were impressive in the scrimmage vs Westview. The Chargers defensive line gave our offensive line a few problems but they were a big and talented bunch. Westview on offense didn't come close to scoring. Our defense looked tough. They have a load of experience coming back and are in great shape. I thought the most impressive player on the field was #78 for the Mustangs. This big boy just completely caved in his side of Westview's offensive. He's a bulldozer!

Huntingdon’s blocking is going to have to improve greatly by the line and backs. Defensively they looked good but need to work on conditioning.

Union City has Ensworth and USJ both very good private schools and Dyer Co, not sure about them but we would never be scared to play the Mustangs. As a matter of fact I would love to play them and so would our players. Open dates just didn’t fall where they could.

Lol would love to play. But with Div II 2A, Div II 3A and whatever Dyer Co is no room for other non region games. UC loves the Huntingdon battles.

Seems like these next 2 years are gold ball or bust for Swenson. Stable is full of Mustangs who have been in the system since pee wee ball. Let's see if he can add to the 1 gold ball trophy case

That’s been said just about every year Swenson’s been here. And so far just a little silver has been added.
