No one needs to convince me of DB. They're better than last year.  Across the line up it's good kids, a few really good kids and a handful of hammers.

No way Mercante pins little Norman in my mind. I have watched both of the wrestle. I think it will be a points match. Prob 8-5 either way.

Good catch, that was actually a mistake and should be three. I am going to give Mercante the win as he is a senior.  Updated my original post.

I just drive all over the state for work and watch these kids wrestle for fun. I think because of DB not being a traditional power house in wrestling and its geological location has people looking down on them. If it was Science Hill they would be top 4 in the State. I've seen Wilson wrestle twice and I just think DB is better.

The eye test is crucial. I know all the DB kids but only some of the WC kids so where unsure I went with Rank Wrestlers position. On paper WC looks better.

There's a lot of 50/50 match ups between the two. WC gets 6 at hwt, 152, maybe 106. 

DB gets 6 at 160 and 113.

Hicks is back in the lineup.  He beats Waterson at 120 IMO.

I honestly don't know.  That may very well be the case.  That's probably one of,  if not the,  weakest spot in the line up. A lot will depend on if some kids can keep it to a decision and not give up those bonus points. That's nothing new though.

Dobyns-Bennett prob had 3 state champs on their team this year from what I have seen. Then a few more that will place. 

I don't see them getting past the second round, but I don't think Wilson has enough this year. 

wouldn’t be surprised if Dobyns wins. that match could go either way and should be fun no matter what

Yeah, the Hwt was the weakest I've seen on the line up. 

I would try to keep it in neutral the whole time and sneak out with a points loss.
