It’s a football afternoon, and it’s hot. A couple hundred kids will get to don their school colors and work up a sweat in LA. I’m gonna take the Govs to beat Eagleton Jr High, alco to squeak by them f’n mountaineers, and the Kees/Murvil game to end in a tie. The last time these teams met, the Kees put it on them. Sure, it was baseball, but the Kees played harder that day. I expect.their best tonight, and we’ve already lost to Corbin this week.

I hope all the kids get thru the night healthy so they can be full speed next week. Safe travels to and from LA.

If we play like we did the second half we will be fine. It wasn’t that Bradley was that good.. we were playing like a middle school… got fired up in the locker room at half time. Bradley has great atheletes but need some work… great team but stopped playing ball in the second half. This is maryvilles weakest team we’ve ever had. Imagine playing us 5 years ago… wouldn’t matter we beat plenty of teams with 3 and 4 D1 players by 30 points every year whitehaven,ravenwood,Alcoa. You name em
