Shane Malone (aka PeabodyPride). Went to Heaven last night. I was blessed to call him my friend. He loved all things Golden Tide related. I am just at a loss for words right now. Remember his wife and family in your prayers in the coming days. As well as the entire Peabody community. Fly high brother… Love ya man.

This is the friend I sit with just about every football game for the last 10 years including JV and freshmen games.  The friend that talked with me for hours on the phone about the Tide.  The friend that paid for my meals when I begged him not to.  I am heartbroken right now.  Please pray for his family.  Those who knew him will truly miss him.  He cared about everybody and he saw no color.  Wow, I'm at a loss for words.  We shared some great moments together and some low moments but all in all, I am glad to have known him as a friend. His friends at TCA are saddened to hear of the passing of "Peabody Pride". We had many an entertaining argument with him over the years. His banter will be missed.

Hey Doc, you and I know each other.  So sorry to hear about Pride.  He stopped and ate wings with me and BigEdmo one night and he talked and talked about Peabody.  We occasionally got a word in about TCA! Ha. He, BigEdmo and I had some good debates on the T.  I’m sure BigEdmo welcomed him home with a Big bear hug and Go Lions grin!  So sorry to hear this!  Going to miss him on the T!

One of my favorites on the T. Never got to meet him in person but you could see what kind of heart he had by many of his posts. Fly high Peabody Pride. I’ll say it one time just for Pride, ROLL TIDE!!!

CoachT can get rowdy sometimes, but for the most part we all love each other. I had the pleasure to meet this poster in person and he was pleasure! I know that he will be pulling for the tide from the heavens now! Prayers!

So sorry to hear this sad news! Shane was a good man! We had a few meals together over the years and I doubt there is a bigger Peabody fan around!! Prayers for his family and friends! Roll Tide PeabodyPride!

I wouldn’t normally post stuff like this. But I know the family’s need in helping to lay him to rest. He wasn’t the wealthiest man in the world and this was very unexpected. If you feel led to donate please do and know that it is greatly appreciated.
