Oliver Springs beat up on Oneida pretty good in their Spring Scrimmage. Oneida looked very soft.

They have a very young team. I don’t see them going anywhere anytime soon. Three of their best players are sophomores, so they definitely are not going anywhere anytime soon.

From what I seen Oliver springs is the real deal this year. They will win the region easily as coalfield and Rockwood are down a lot this year.

It's a spring game, I wouldn't put much into a spring scrimmage.

I was just surprised by the physicality of Oz and lack of with Oneida. Oz completely controlled both lines of scrimmage and Oneida looked extremely soft. Maybe by August they can toughen up a bit but if not, it will be a long season for Oneida.

So true. Cannot deny that. It's like that mentality has been disappearing over the last 2 seasons and this season it will be almost gone.

I have been told by many inside the know and in the program that they may be down from last year. They can’t get kids to come out and play. We know the reasoning behind that but I’ll keep it to myself.

Well they were 4-7 last year, they may be looking at 2-3 wins. Their schedule isn't exactly tough but without an OL/DL, they can lose to anyone I would assume.

We had 26 players of our now 50 man roster that night due to many starters playing other sports and still tied 2 all. I’m certain Oz had several players out as well. We won’t be good and Oz will likely beat us in the regular season but they’re not world beaters either. They should compete for their region however.
