I think Summertown looked really good and Loretto looked solid too.  These 2 will make some noise and be a tough out late in the season.  Both teams are well coached and strong at all 5 starting positions with good bench players.  These young ladies have a high Basketball  IQ !  Really enjoyed watching them play .

Wow McMinn Central over Coffee County 69-33 I guess Central was mad about the loss earlier this year to CC.

According to someone who was there: Central came out prepared and on fire and CC couldn't match the tempo and trailed 30-14 at halftime.  Central's intensity continued throughout the second half.

That team can flat play!  And they play on both ends of the court.  I was very impressed when we played them earlier this year.

Big win by Huntingdon Fillies over Westview tonight. 61-57. Westview can still shoot lights out. They had trouble handling Huntingdon down low.

Yeah the key for Huntingdon is they can probably play with any team around if Kee stays out of foul trouble. She has games where she misses multiple minutes and that hurts Huntingdon bad. They are a really good team when they are dialed in. If they get hot and she stays out of foul trouble they could be really hard to beat.

I thought Sims and Alexander looked off last night. Their two leading scorers were their freshman point guard and junior post that just got back from ACL surgery, and it's usually Sims and Alexander. That along with Huntingdon being almost perfect (only missing 1) from the free throw line was the difference in the game. It was a pretty evenly matched, hard fought game by both teams. Westview needs games like that outside of district play to prepare them for district play instead of games against teams like Humbolt and Paducah Tillman!!

Those Fillies can shoot the ball.   Against Cookeville, they shot 80+% from FT and started the game shooting 75% from 3.  They cooled off and shot 60% from 3 for the game!    We turned them over alot and killed them on the offensive boards or we would have been in trouble with the way they were shooting.   Very talented team.
