Region 6-1A 2023

The region looks quite different in 2023. Don't know a lot about McEwen, Perry or Houston Co. How y'all see this one shaking out

Cake walk for you guys and MCKENZIE

Mcewen is scrappy but lost there only real weapon in there big running back. Perry county will struggle. Not sure on Houston County. But the big question is how far does Mckenzie drop off or do they?

Even if they lost 10 starters,their bench would finish first in this region.

I don't think there's any way McKenzie doesn't have at least a little bit of a dropoff

Starter wise they have to replace the entire secondary, 1LB, WR 1, WR 2, RB 1, RB 2, FB 1,  QB1, 80% of the DL & OL. They will be strong at the linebacker and quarterback positions . There is still a lot talent there, but need experience playing together. I expect a slow start out of the gate but will get better each week. I think they will be a competitive team come playoffs. Mcewen will be a battle but I think not having to play WC until the end of October is a plus for McKenzie.

They will have a BIG drop off but they will still cruise in this region.  The senior class they just lost doesn’t come around too often.

I believe McKenzie will easily win this Region. I just don't see anyone (1A) coming close. Our toughest opponent will be in County rival Huntingdon. Now that'll be a great game!

Mckenzie and Dresden play second week of season. Will be a true test for both teams.

Wide open , but Mckenzie will always be the favorite as a 2A team .
