Yes I do. It was McGauhey Lumber. I went to school with his kids and to church with them.

We’ve been pretty up and down in scrimmages so far, but it’s been against stout competition. It might take some time for this Henry Co team to get its feet under it, but if I had to guess I’d say it’ll be another pretty dang solid one by October-November.

You guys playing with MBA last night speaks volumes. I believe you are in the toughest region in West TN and will have the toughest schedule of anyone in West TN. If you lose a couple of games that won’t mean too much. Will just make you better for a playoff run if you can stay healthy.

I think haywood we be just fine even with the departure of Chris smith head coach heading to Bartlett and 2 year starting qb transferring to germantown.

Who did y’all scrimmage last night and how did it go?  I was told that Dyer Co outscored y’all last week 4-3 but y’all had some tds called back by penalty. I agree with you that y’all will be just fine.

I can't call it yet. Probably the usual suspects at the top. Henry County  Haywood etc. Just saw about Haywood's QB leaving that could throw a wrench into things

I think it will make Haywood more 1 dimensional where they will have to rely more on the running game. But honestly there was such a talent gap between them and the other West TN 4A teams I think they will still be at the top of list as far as West TN 4A goes.

Very true but it's never easy losing your leader. It'll be interesting to see how they're looking in the latter weeks of the season. 

Munford should be another team near the top. They might have the best skills position group in rural west tenn

I think it is entirely too early to tell much. I have seen years where a team looks primed to win the state and 4 weeks into the season you find out they are not very good... I love seeing the T get going over some football!
