Powell 3-2 travels to Halls 5-0

After Halls dismantled Carter, I'm really starting to believe this Halls team is for real. Does Halls winning streak finally come to an end, or do they keep rolling along toward that undefeated regular season?

This should be a great game!! Who you have winning and why?

The Battle Of Emory Road is a competitive game, again. That's a goid thing for both communities. 

Brent has done a great job with the Halls program, especially dealing with the adversity he has had to work thru. 

Powell is getting better as the young kids get Friday night snaps. 

If you pressed me for a winner right now, I would say Halls based on the home field. But one never knows what is going to happen in that series.

Halls will put up a fight but wheeler and line is just tooo much to handle

This is one of those close one's that could go either way. Glad there is a thread, maybe someone in the know may have a better scoop on this one before I make my guess. I have 38 picks and have already decided on 26 of them. 12 of them may be so close I need a day or two to decide.

It's nice to see both teams playing well, and it should be an interesting game. Halls has surprised a lot of folks this year so far, myself included. I think their defense has been the biggest surprise, but they haven't really played any big dogs yet. I'm leaning toward Powell in a close one.

Both of these teams have strong Offensive lines as well as RBs. This game will be over quick due to the amount of running plays being called. I think Powell has a better DLine than Halls so that could be the difference. Powell 21- Halls 17

Halls is riding high after playing a bunch of nobody’s and that includes my Falcons. Powell has had a much tougher schedule which will pay dividends down the road. If the dynamic duo stay healthy in this one….

 

give me the Panthers by a trickle or 2 and if they don’t things could get interesting..

Will the torch pass? Powell is still good, but has some holes and not the Powell teams of the recent past. Halls is improved and this could be a rock fight. I will take Powell in a squeaker, but don't turn the ball over or it could go the other way.

I like Halls in a close one.   I believe this game may also decide who gets a home playoff game round 1, and who hits the road.
