My take is not as much our defense, it’s more theirs. I’m not sure they can keep 7 in the box and stop the pass. If they can were had. If they have to drop a 5th we can run on them I believe but moreover I think we can still pass on their 5 so they may have to flip the box and have only 5 to play the run and use 6 in coverage. If they do that we can control the game on the ground. If they commit to making us pass and play 6+ in the box the passing numbers should be very good. Then again you should ask @TSSAAfootball, he knows it all, apparently my shoes are stupid 

Oneida has got some monsters on the D line. The penalty’s all around are hurting Oneida. Rather the penalty is on offense or defense it’s killing them.

Now that’s true as well. This era of double digit penalties per game is something I’m still not used to SMDH

They could have put at least I’d say 60 on Rockwood first game, but it was a penalty almost every touchdown play.

It was. Some of the penalties we haven’t got much of but we can’t have them penalties this week.

It’s gonna take a complete game for Oneida to win this one. I have been apart of many Oneida and GB games and rarely are they blowouts. We thought for sure we would get them last year but they beat us 13-10 and pretty much shut us down. Oneida will have to be able to run the ball some to open the pass. If they do that I like their chances but not in a blowout fashion.

Honestly though I don't know if GB is awful or really good. They are only 2-3 but I'm not sure that you can go by that.  Oneida is 4-1 but the 4 teams they beat are bad teams. So I don't think records really matter. It's at Oneida so I'll say Oneida 21-20. But it wouldn't shock me if the GB coaches do a good job of scheming up to stop the pass and pull out the win. Seems like a pretty good matchup despite the class difference.

I wouldn’t necessarily say Oneida’s 4  wins were against bad teams. (I like how you always like to throw that in there.) You realize Polk played a 3a McMinn Central team to 5 points right? They are by no means a ‘bad team.’ Give credit where credit is due, Oneida has 4 wins and a loss and they are looking for another win tomorrow night. I like their chances. I’m not from Oneida, but do not discredit this team of youngsters, they are starting to come alive the past few games. 2 sophomore LB’s with a combined number of 37   tackles is unheard of and Oneida has 2 more years of that!

This thread got hot real quick. All I know is that we are just over 24 hours away from (in my opinion) one of the better rivalries that Oneida has when it comes to football. I remember my days at Oneida (01-04 seasons) and we had some knock-down drag-outs with the Kees. We didn't have a ton of success against them (1-5 over four seasons), but I promise both teams knew they were in a war on Saturday morning when they woke up. 

For all of you Oneida fans out there that don't follow us on Facebook or Twitter, here's some highlights from last week's win at Polk County. I promise you won't see any "middle school linebackers" on this video. #OneidaPride
