Question.... Since 2000 how many road playoff wins does DB have?

This does not seem right to me but maybe it is, can any DB fans authenticate??

This database says they won at Smyrna in 2016 before losing at Maryville in the second round. DB is 2-12 in playoff road games since 2000.

Looks like Bearden lost to Knox West + Alcoa by a combined 7 points.      Then didn't lose again until getting road-graded by Bradley Central, but then again BC has done that a lot this year.                  Going to be tough for the Indians to go into Beardenville tonight and get the W.             But history is certainly on DB's side, so it will be interesting

Teams going on the road in the playoffs tend to be underdogs which means they're most likely going up against a better team. Odds are if you go on the road, you're gonna' lose. This is especially true with first round games. I bet if you looked at results of all other teams you would see something similar with 95% of them.

It'll be interesting to see how this game plays out. I get the sense that some think that Bradley and Bearden are on equal footing above the rest of the teams in this bracket but I don't buy it. I think Bearden is closer to Maryville, Cleveland, and even Farragut than they are to Bradley. I think if the Bulldogs do happen to see the Bears again it'll be because they played lights out to beat D-B and Jeff County next week in Dumplin Valley. I could see this game being closer than most people think. D-B historically has been able to rebound from the Science Hill game better than the Hilltoppers do when it comes to opening round playoff games.
