Congrats to both teams for making it to the quarterfinals. I expect a hard fought game by both teams but the Coalfield experience will prevail.

CF - 28

OS -16

Pirate I told somebody the exact thang this mornin when talkin bout this game. This Coalfield bunch is EXPECTED to be playin in the quarters and semis. They are a bunch that always finds ways to win football games deep in November.

On a hunting trip or this is where I would be tonight!

I share the same opinion as a few of the recent post. I think OZ is good enough, but I think Coalfield's experience pays off in the end, much like the regular season game.

I do want to point out that I think it is really neat to see both of these programs ran by relatively young head coaches that played and now coach at their alma mater. This is one of the things that I love most about small school sports.

OZ- 12

CF- 28

Good luck to both teams in this rivarly game late in the year. I'll be tuned in.

Out of my respect for you rtl I'm pulling for you and that taste like turpentine.Lol.You are definitely the lesser of two evils.

Come on we ain't evil now, only Oz.  I was really hoping for a match up with you guys but we got the Bobcats instead, oh well!  It should be a good game. I guarantee Oz will be fired up to beat our butts.

    • You are so correct!  It’s really 99.9% of academia want to change to way that education is not only taught but the way it is viewed.  The pendulum has definitely swung as far to the left as possible and eventually will swing to the right much too far.  I have always  said that politics and one’s personal religious views need to stay out of education,  but for the last 40 years education has been running full throttle to what we have today.  If the social experiment that we are currently experiencing continues it is only a matter of time before the public school system in the USA completely collapses and all kids attend private schools or even worse don’t go to school.
    • He was a bruise but Aaron Dykes is HVA’s best RB ever.
    • I am talking about what they both did for their team. They both carried their team for four years while they were both there. I wasn’t really comparing them that would be unfair. Bishop is on a level of his own.
    • Dorian Eskridge had a great Junior year, highlighted by a great game to lead HVA to an upset win at OR that year. I think that was 2010. In 2011 OR won at HVA. OR had a real good QB that year l think. Dorian Eskridge had a great senior year also. He always played hard from the DCM videos l saw.
