Spearing lmao are you kidding me?

I didn't say it was.  Did you see the borderline part?  When you have your players to consistently pushing for helmet caused fumbles its flirting with spearing at game speed. The comment was in response to the alleged no call on targeting.

That's an ignorant statement.  Hat to the ball, textbook tackles.

Comer strikes again.

Mckenzie isn't very impressive.

Farrior completely put this team on his back.  Congrats!!

May hurt some McKenzie feelings with this, but oh well...

McKenzie wasn't the best 1A football team from the west talentwise. From the start of the season with a thumping of Huntingdon, to making the championship game by "upsetting the favorites", then losing to a very stout South Pittsburg team by one score, I'd say that this year's coaching job by Comer was better than winning it all last year with a team full of kids who were there the year before and picked by most to be back and win it. The old quandary applies here..."did the coach get out coached and lose, or did he do a great job to get his team there to begin with?" I'm going to say that my vote is for the latter.

Lean Robbinsville. They have a stud wrestler that’s going to App St.

Mount Airy has a stud RB Mason going to Virginia Tech though and a DE going to Virginia Tech Dandy

I like the Adams kid Robbinsville has, he seems like a good all around kid. But I’ve seen clips of Mount Airy I don’t know if Robbinsville has enough in the tank.

Weren't you the one earlier that called out somebody on the "if and then"?

We'll never know. Congrats to McKenzie on the fine season and congrats to Pitt on the title.

since you are a little slow, i will try to help. the "if then" i was calling out was within a game, hoping for a team to do something they aren't doing. "if they can get the passing game going" or whatever it was.

mine was a hypothetical based on a kid not getting injured. if moore's QB doesnt tear a knee they beat McK and are playing today. could they have scored "moore" than 14?

    • Did this happen? Does anyone know? Ripley has their HC job posted on the bulletin board over the weekend.
    • Coalfield definitely isn't the same team they've had the past few years. They are still the favorites to make it out of their region because of their pitching. They have 1 arm that sits low to mid 80s and 2 other arms that are mid to high 70s with good off speed stuff. If you can avoid their top 3 bats in their lineup then you have a shot to beat them. Their 4-9 hitters are average at best. Wartburg's ace was able to shut them down last week in the game Wartburg won 4-2.
    • It is the longest season. Plus, 30 games a year. No Christmas break. I would say basketball is the most time consuming.
