Alcoa would not have 22 state titles in 6A but I promise you they’d definitely win their share in 6A.

Congratulations to East Nashville on a great run!! & Alcoa on their 22nd state championship & 9th in a row!!! I’m gonna say this, Alcoa coaching staff will NEVER, let those kids lose interest, & they will NEVER stop game planing/ preparing for ANYONE they play. The reason Alcoa & maryville has the rep they have is because of their dedication. I encourage you to just take a day off & watch their summer work out, just one, what those kids go through between Jan to first weekend in December is unprecedented, & their weight programs are 2nd to none, that’s why if you think you can beat either one of them, you better have the staying power because it’s gonna be a long night. I encourage anyone to check all this out & see if you even come close to the work those teams put in. West, Oakland, ect…… know. Not a brag, just a fact! If you want to beat them, put the work in!!! Good job boys, great win!!
