1996 and 1997 are correct.  
 

In 1996 they won in the final week of the regular season to reach the playoffs.  The other playoff teams in the region that year were Beech, Father Ryan, and Maplewood.

 

In 1997 they lost the opener to MBA by one point.  After that they ran the table and pitched 8 straight shutouts from Weeks 7-14.  The other playoff teams in the region that year were Springfield, Whites Creek, and Cheatham County.  

 

In 1998 they had a great chance to three peat but were defeated at home in the Quarterfinals by Whites Creek.

Watched the rerun Upperman played well against an highly talented PC. I want believe the rain may have slowed PC down but rain or shine a great team will shine. Upperman was just as good in the long run. Both teams deserved the win but Congratulations to PC. It's all just a game of chess when two great teams meet; it's whomever makes the right move at the right time(s).

Yep. I posted about this a year or two ago when they were in the same region as Watertown and Trousdale.  Fallen in more ways than one as enrollment used to be 1500+ and they had a great track program and very good basketball and football.
