Yeah then you don’t force the pace they played right into Yorks hands!

From what I saw York made adjustments and McMinn kept doing what they did in the first half, gotta credit York for making plays too!

This is why I value excellent coaching and being able to adjust in game
Dadof2
Central’s two stars combined for 49 points but the rest of the team only had 14. York’s star had 33 and the rest combined for 33 point.
UCSportsFan
I’ll say this it was a great halftime adjustment by the coaches from York. The players stepped up as well. Hard to come back from 10 down against McMinn Central that’s rarefied air right there.
UCSportsFan
Smith County is no joke either. They are very well coached and played very disciplined basketball. GP Is the favorite, but you have to remember four of their losses team against York.
justcurious5
The York coach schedules a very difficult non-district slate of teams for his squad also. That helps prepare them for games like the one today -a very tight game against a quality opponent. Today wasn't the first time they encountered a situation where they needed to battle back from a sizable deficit in a loud, pressure-packed environment. Good Luck to the Dragonettes the rest of the way !

LadyCavsFan
There has been some great games today! I knew that McMinn vs York game was going to be great. Smith county put up a heck of a fight. And now this Loretto vs Westview is a 2pt game with :21 left. Great day!
LetsGoBrandon
Watching the AA games today....I'm pulling for GC to win it all, but I think that York is the favorite by a slim margin. I think this may have been the strongest AA tournament top to bottom in recent history. Great games. Go Pioneers. Congrats to WV on a great season. With the losses of the seniors from last year and the injuries this year... an impressive return.
westtnsportsfan
4 good AA games today, no blow-outs will be 2 more good ones tomorrow

They will be back strong again next year. Three Miss Basketballs candidates all looked great. All AA games were in single digits as we expected. Proud of our girls for sure battling against a really good Huntingdon team. Good luck to all. Great games today.
