can' talk about early '80's DB basketball and not mention Jimmy Rice, Scott Fogle, Rodney Blye, Lee Garber, Bruce Tranbarger, Victor McMiller....I've slept since then and would need my annaul to refresh my memory further...no doubt, under Buck Van Huss' guidance, they were good! Now back to the present.........

Tuesday will be a great day to beat Cherokee and advance to round 2 of the Regional Playoffs......stay focused Indians and a trip to Murfreesboro is inevitable......stay focused and play your team ball Indians and a sub-state game at the DOME is inevitable, which makes your trip to Murfreesboro inevitable.......I don't think there is a team in the state who could come to the DOME and beat the Indians!!!!!!

GET FIRED UP INDIANS!!

CMOORE2, Can't take the heat on the football board. Getting desperate. Ah poor baby. Maybe you can grow up and send your kids to DB a real school. Oh, you may not be in a relationship that could produce kids, I forgot. On second thought, stay in GayC, I mean JC.

DB WINS ROUND 1 OF THE REGION TOURNAMENT!! MILESTONE AFTER MILESTONE FOR C MO AND THESE INDIANS!! CHOP CHOP!!

DB 78

Cherokee 49

I am "jonesing" for stats. Please post the numbers, whoever was able to go to the game. I know a couple of things:

1 - This was a total mismatch - As we have become used to

2 - The Indian Bench was playing almost the entire 2nd half and the entire 4th qtr. I heard that Lamon Williams was high scorer, but Jervis, Blye, Wootten and Henry Williams all had good games (for the amount of time they played)

It is great that everyone was able to get PT, and lots of it.

Can't Stop the Chop

Chop Chop!! :o

Sounds like the Tribe had a rough go. Good to see that Lamon led the Tribe in Scoring. I bet it was interesting watching them trying to handle him, Wootten, & Harrison.

The State is on the 20-22. Jess, Holla at your boy!

Last state championship was in 1945!!!

but we got the coach to bring back the tradition and he has allready proven that... I will be at every game from here on out and trust me we won't loose...I had the honor to play for Charlie Morgan and he is an excellent coach and will prove it down the stretch...

I know he has plenty of tricks up his sleeve that none of us have seen yet.....He's waiting until the state tournament and maybe even the championship game to bring it out..

I'm with all you guys....Spencer Cole

GOOD LUCK
