Coach wells is a good coach and a fine human being. he deserves it. i played for wells first season when i a senior. i would be so proud of him hes done so much for our community pride.

Ya'll all can say what you want,,,,,,,,,, But to take a team that 2 years ago was 0-10 and then go 8-3 followed by 10-0 and might I add "they aren't done yet" That's a coach that deserves serious consideration.........

I agree, BUT... It is LARRY DAVIS not Derrick who always has and always will run that team! As long as he is on the sidelines, he's The Coach. You being a "Former player" know it, too!

 

Is this the same Larry Davis who coached Cookeville for a few years back in the late 80's?

The thing is...Wells at Campbell County...is definetly the coach of the year...this school has had more 0-10 seasons than seasons winning games...thats unofficial but im pretty sure thats right. he has put the cougars in their first playoff sopt ever...

With all due respect to Camden, and with a shout-out to the great job done there this season, I have to cast my 2A vote for DON COADY of Martin Westview. He took a team that was 1-9 last year and lost its first two games this season to an 8-2 record and championship of Region 7-2A. .... By the way, Kevin Ward was a Coady assistant. So, technically, Coady is 17-3 so far this season.

I think that Coach Wampler from SULLIVAN NORTH. He has done something that no one has since North has been there. They won the Regionals and the Conference out right. I think that says a whole lot. WAY TO GO COACH thumb

Let me add one more vote for Coach Kevin Ward of Camden Central...with he and his fantastic assts. the fun is back in football for Camden...what an amazing turnaround for this team and the whole town...and did I mention he's agreat guy off the field as well! thumb
