  2. Show me our boys run 4.5 and 4.6 and show me your boy runs a 4.4 since your a social media whiz.Lets see the evidence .

  3. Oh so your boy runs a 4.4 but none of our boys can be that fast.Stupid comment.Let Day Day or Abbott get a step and u may think otherwise. But no.They dont play for Trenton so no way they can be as fast.

  4. Do you care to explain where the stupidity was in this conversation ?

  5. Here's a few of ours. We have some pretty talented recievers again this year I believe.

  6. Didn't say it made me mad, just stating a fact. I see Oakland as the school to play for if your wanting to be seen in the Nashville area. Alcoa from time to time has a kid going to big time football but it's not the factory your thinking it is. I see the two that got big time offers this year and one of them should of been a Heritage player and the other was true home grown. Two future linemen that will get plenty of offers are from Knoxville and a William Blount/Greenback rescue. Alcoa has a great homegrown network but what walks in the door from other places helps put them into another class .

  8. Murvul home brew'n at it's finest! Mark Packer owns Rivalry Thursday, a Production Company that airs High School Games here in East TN. rivalrythursday.com He had enough of the home cooking. He went to ask the "officials" about their calls. With most officials work for the city of murvul, he was "fighting an uphill battle". He just got to see what us Alcoa fans get to see every year...........CHEAT'N!!!

  9. You can't get mad because "most" of these kids you speak of, are just trying to win, they don't import them or give them happy meals of cash, the kids know they will win there and they know they are more likely to go play "big-time" CFB if they go there. Creasy and Rankin are hands down the 2 best coaches in our state, they could win with average talent(They both have done it). There wasn't a problem with the situation until Creasy arrived at Oakland and Georgy ran off.

  11. Video I saw didnt look like an interception and ball was slow getting to receiver allowing him to catch up.Maybe he did make interception and let ball go.But ball hung in air and was slow getting to receiver. Not enough arm strength.Fall that far behind LC or Milan with a different qb ,I'd like the offense chances of a completion or a touchdown.Like to read what other fans not from Trenton think.

  12. MC won another 7-on-7 tournament in Giles County today competing against elite talent. The Tigers did not lose a single game over the past two days. Looking like it could possibly be a special year for the Tigers. According to some TC fellows, MC has great season when the cicadas are out. And they happen to be out this year lol.

  13. Good Luck to PC as well! Always enjoyed when we played one another. You all have always have been friendly people when we would come down or y’all would come up. Maybe one of these days we can cross paths again on the gridiron. We are up and coming to be a well presented program as the team keeps improving each year. Shoulders is putting MC on the map and that’s for sure!

  14. Barney, I use to go as well. At least they now use officials. I watched one 7 on 7 years ago at Greeneville high against Science Hill. The GHS coach would count to 1003 and yell were dropped. Science had a crazy coach named Scott something or other. He would let the QB run around for 8 to 10 seconds. GHS threw the ball well that year, the hill sucked. O and D lines are not taken into account or being hammered over the middle or linebackers playing run first. I do think they help with timing and putting in more time in the summer.

  18. Good discussion. I think you have many valid points. First I would just mention that I didn’t necessarily pick one team. TraderTwo mentioned Peabody so I just followed up on that. I like you don’t necessarily like to compare scores but what you said is spot on. I would just argue that comparing scores was more difficult last year than ever before due to Covid. Who knows what teams were missing from week to week. But in regards to scores with USJ, McKenzie and Peabody I think the fact that Peabody and McKenzie are in the same region leads to closer games. They usually play each other twice per year and both staffs are very familiar with each other. McKenzie and USJ rarely play so the unfamiliarity comes into play. I do concede that many of the top D2-A teams were better than the top 1A and 2A teams. I still believe that the Peabody would have beaten DA last year but who knows. Just my opinion.
