Really hard to see the playoffs starting and Covington not being in them, especially with the success they have had the last 2 years. This region has been quite entertaining this year. I think Covington puts it all together and finds a way to win this one, no way Coach Kirby wants to miss the playoffs his first year at the helm of the Charger program!

Once they lost the RB, the wheels just fell off. I know they kicked off about 5 players that were pretty good for discipline reason, but can't blame them there. It's always best to get rid of your bad apples. Is Coach Stowe on the hot seat over there?

Obion got a good win over McKenzie last Friday, but no chance of pulling this one. They are entirely too over matched in this game!

No doubt Westview's offense will put up point, but question is, can their defense find a stop? At the end of the day I think they can get a couple and pull this one out in the end, should be a very good game either way!

Game of the week? This should be a very good game between 2 very good teams. I've learned to never go against South Gibson. There aren't many that can say they play as tough of a schedule as SGC. They are definitely battle tested and should be undefeated, but Haywood pulled it out. At home, I think this one goes to SGC as well. Probably going to head down the road and check this one out this week!

Yep, McKenzie by a lot!

Adamsville surprised a lot of people with the win last week including myself. This one is tough though. Riverside has looked good this year, but Adamsville is at home, on a 3 game win streak, and still have a lot to play for with trying to get into the playoffs. I want to say Riverside takes this, but I can't go against Adamsville 2 weeks in a row. Adamsville gets it done in a close one!

I've had the chance to watch this kid kick on numerous occasions and you are right, he is definitely legit. Seeing him this year, his kickoffs have definitely improved since last year. Not a single kickoff that didn't hit the endzone the few times I've seen him this year. Would have expected to see bigger schools after him since his dad kicked for an SEC school (can't remember which one), but being in Ripley doesn't help much with that I'm sure.

Haven't heard much about Adamsville this year, but its that time of the year when every game means so much for playoff seeding or even to just get in. Tough one for GC on the road, but I think they get it done in a close one!

South Gibson made me a believer with the way they competed with Haywood. They truly should have won that game. SGC has a bad taste in their mouth from this game last year and know that a win will pretty much give them the region title. I believe they go into Covington and get a huge win this week!

A lot on the line in this game this week. Crockett Co has been playing some very good ball since that 0-2 record they started the season with. At home against Haywood in a game that could potentially win them the region, I think they can get the upset. Should be a great game! Cavaliers by 7.

This region is tough and will definitely be interesting to see how it plays out. Dyersburg has struggled recently, the upcoming games with Crockett Co & Ripley will be huge. I think they lose one, if not both of those games. Haywood will be at #1 without a doubt. Obion Co. will not sneak in this year, they basically need 2 region wins to get in because they lose the head to head with Ripley. I'll go out an a limb and say the final standings for this region is 1) Haywood 2) Crockett Co 3) Ripley 4) Dyersburg

So you all are saying there is no chance of an upset? But I think Puckett will continue running the score up in this one as well, might as well continue making a "statement" on their "championship tour" this season!

I haven't seen Milan since they opened up against Peabody. Wasn't a good night for them then, but I'm sure many changes have been made since then. Should be a good game, but I've seen a lot of Covington lately, hard to go against them. Defense is solid and Hayes is a talented player. I'll take Covington by 21 in this one!

Gibson County gets the win this week, no question!

South Gibson made me a believer last week with their performance against Haywood. While Westview has a glaring issue defensively apparently. I believe South Gibson can find a stop or 2 to slow down this high powered offense enough to get a win!

I haven't seen any of South Gibson this year, but I know they are playing some good ball right now. Haywood has pretty much been lights out all year other than that trip out of the state. Can South Gibson really compete with Haywood? I'll take Haywood by 28 in this one!

Should be a good game, but definitely taking Obion County in this one. Their O Line is aggressive and their QB is a really talented player. I'll take the Rebels by 21. Should be a quick game, cause they are going to milk the clock with that ball control offense they run!

#42 was a beast and my thoughts and prayers go out to him, definitely want to see him back on the field one day. As for the game, this one is easy, Haywood by a lot!

By far the best game of the week right here. I'm going to take Westview in the upset by 3. The Covington defense has been lights out this year, but I think McConnell & Simpson find a way to get it done! Either way its going to be a great game & the winner definitely will have the leg up in winning the region, but South Gibson is still lurking out there!

Dresden definitely gets back on track this week. They knew they stood no chance against Lake Co. I'm sure they've been preparing for WC for about 2 weeks or so now, at least the coaches have. I think both teams to find a way into the playoffs this year though!

Tide by a lot in this one. Southside is a good, athletic team, but Peabody has a little too much for them to handle!

Dyer Co. has looked very, very good this year, but I can't see them hanging this pissed off Henry Co. team that can't wait to get one in the win column. They make it interesting, but HC by double digits in the end!

Westview by 17!

GC should win this game. Halls does have a big & physical O Line, but overall GC has more kids & more talent!
