Matt may actually be dumb as a box of rocks.

Matt is actually smart (3.0 gpa in college) from what I hear ... I could be wrong though ... Matt's throwing motion is a little better than Vince's too from what I hear :o

Yes,Wuerffel's a great guy.You can't really hate on him.

He was a product of Spurrier's "system",yes, but he had a lot of talent as well.

I keep hearing that "system" thing. There were many QB's before & after him with much better physical skills that played in the "system" and couldn't do what he did.Granted he had NFL type receivers,and an NFL RB(Fred Taylor),but it takes a special QB to be that accurate. :o

Out of those which do Matt gave that Vince doesn't?

 

The only one I can think of Matt has more of than Vince is intellect.

 

I think Leinert is smarter, and is in the right place at the right time. Truth be told, intellect is probably the #1 quality to have for a QB right now.

 

That plus I keep falling back on the number of QBs who have left after their junior year that have failed vs. the number that has succeeded. Something about that 4th year in college does wonders for QBs.

      Maybe OR will be, but Farragut, nah, I don’t think anybody realizes how much of a bad situation that program is in currently. I’m sure they will build out of it, but the next 3 to 4 years are going to be a long climb up.

      Thats one of the problems of having an 8-team region. A team could make it in any other region, but the numbers work against them in this one.

      MTD (Stanley Black and Decker) and UTM are the only thing keeping Westview's numbers up. Are school enrollments dropping in those listed schools too or just athletic rosters?
