This is a great show, I learned some very interesting stuff about coach Propst from a a hs coach in tn, I am going to go to one of hoovers playoff games this year if i can... should be interesting.

I saw them play in 2004 and they would have killed any team in tennessee

goose got with kristen because he was up her @$$ all the time

They have a player in the top 100 this year. He was never once shown on the show. The next season is said to air early next year. The only bad part was when they started filming they lost.

this show is great...i havent missed one show of it yet...btw this is a little off subject but gibson co. band is going down to alabama for a band competition at hoover high school...pretty neat i thought

Goose didn't end up with Kristin. MTV had an episode you could watch online and I watched it. It was a pretty good closure to the season. Alex had surgery in January, which caused him to miss out on his senior baseball season. He is still dating the cheerleader Danielle at Hoover. Max and his gf are no longer together. Ross and his gal are still togethers. Goose is at the University of Alabama, with most of the senior cheerleaders. Ok the drama talk is over.

During the episode they showed Hoover's indoor baseball cages. They were outstanding, just like their bubble of a practice field. These kids are truly blessed to go to a school like this.

That kind of distrubs me about they way they depicted Repete's dad. They make him out to be a drunk, but he's the guy that moved his family just so Repete could play at Hoover. He said he made the move because he wanted Repete to be the first in the family to graduate college. If he's a drunk, he's a very supportive drunk.

I think Repete's dad is above that "drunk" label. Moving his son to Hoover so he can have a better life says a whole lot. Repete even said that if it wasn't for Hoover, he'd been in jail or dead and that Hoover saved his life. Repete was one of my favorites on there. I like the episode where he was making fun of Goose. :D :D Other than that, I thought the show was real good.

least nobody has made a post about Maryville, Riverdale, McCallie, or Brentwood could own Hoover. ((LOL))

You are so right about that.

The indoor practice field was not their practice field... I've been to Hoover 2 times to play baseball games and the place looks like a college campus. They have 2 baseball fields and the JV field is better than any field here in Tennessee. So much money in Hoover.

    • Never said I thought it was a smart decision. I'm scratching my head at it too.
    • If he wanted to play QB he should have either went to Heritage or William Blount and had a real good chance there. In stead he'll be exactly what he was going to be at Maryville. They already know who their QB is going to be in 2025 and it ain't going to be him.
    • Easier said than done. The man who ran for 250+ yards and 3TDs is gonna be back….and a lot bigger.
    • plus it removes the pressure around winning.
    • You are correct.   The teacher's pay scale is virtually the same in Knox County, now, as it is at Oak Ridge.   The coaching supplements are still higher at Oak Ridge, from what I was told, but not a huge difference.   Plus, Rusty is going from a position coach to an OC position, which is what he was at South Doyle and where his comfort zone is.  And from a special education teaching slot to a PE teaching slot.  There is a lot of positivity in that move without even considering the coaching aspect.   Anybody who sees something negative here is just looking for negativity to begin with.  But some live in that world.   Really good hire for Brent.  He now has two experienced and quality coordinators and can concentrate on being a head football coach.
