i agree that it is for the most part cowardly on behalf of most who do it

the one exception is if you have a coach that doesnt know how to use his players

running 140 RBs behind a OL that averages 220 into DLs that are 300 and the coach run the backs right up the middle deserves some criticizim

thats all i have to say

How about if you do not like a particular thread, do not click on it. Who really takes internet message boards seriously anyway? I'm in the same Sunday School class as my high schools head coach and I have never heard him say anything about what people on here say. Everyone knows who this web site is for and they know to take whatever is said on here with a grain of salt.

Amen! If you don't want to read about a particular school or topic, scroll on down the page.

That's the best answer yet!!!!! :thumb:

Haha well it's the truth. It happens in the stands, it happens on here. The whole world doesn't look at this board. I'm willing to bet around only 1 percent of fans go on here. All the players and fans hear it in the stands, so I just don't see a difference.

Well I would say that about sums it up. Well said, Well spoken  and I would say that would be the last post on this so you might as well close this. B)

I have chosen simply not to read most of these posts about individual coaches. So, when I see that a post refers to a specific coach's name, or to the coach of a particular school, I just choose not to read it.

We have become extreme in our opinions about a sport and who is coaching who? It is one thing to critique the decisions on the field, it is another to personally attack other people. I for one choose to stay out of that fray.

It may be a joke to you, but I promise you that that

you don't have the guts to make the comments to

the coach's face. Who would be laughing if the

poster had to stand up in the light of day and make

his/her comments? Try making them in the coach’s

office or at a booster meeting. Bashing a coach on

these boards creates no positive results.

How often do you see a newspaper reporter write

about a high school coach's character and try to

destroy a coach's reputation? Do you ever see a reporter

write that the high school coach is the "problem"?

There should be some guidelines on these boards

about posters trying to destroy a coach's reputation.

Posters who hide behind a keyboard start rumors

about coaches looking for other jobs and other things

that are completely false.

These posts not only hurt the coaches and their teams,

but the coaches have families who read this stuff. The

lack of self-control and monitoring of the posts has

created a negative impact.

If you see someone bashing a coach on these boards,

please don't ignore the posts. If the cowards who make

these posts are challenged, then maybe their negative

impact will be minimized.

Because it is the 21st century. Instead of bashing coaches at the grocery store or at the game itself, we can now get online and bash coaches in a football forum. That is why.
