With you on the team...I wouldn't have thought they needed anyone!!!...

And what's this stuff about you recruiting???...Thought we were going to own the world?????????????????

The day that a Hackett has anything to do with running the world is the day I call it quits!!!!!!

"Then there’s senior Darryl Tate. Tate is in a kind of unfortunate situation. Had it not been for Shiverdecker’s move from 5A Jefferson Co to the hills of Blount County, Tate would be the marquee back at Alcoa today."

So, Shiverdecker is a transfer?

Well, atleast that is what I found in Moyer's last article.

"But be assured, the Tornado RB’s will get their yardage against Smith County and beyond."

And he might be exactly right by stating this, but I'll bet that he has never even seen Smith County play football. He brags an awful lot on you guys to be from Maryville. lol

SCHS fans:

Your visitor's side: That's how big it is???? That's IT????? From a previous picture, it looked a lot bigger. Really disappointing.

So, you think Alcoa's overlooking the game on Friday, huh??? GREAT!!! Just keep thinking that. You must not know your homeboy very well after all if you think Rankin would overlook somebody.

Shiverdecker moved to Alcoa from Jefferson County before his Junior Year so they could be nearer to family since his mom was having some health problems. Tate is a quick one, so the SC boys better have something to counteract.

Let's see...any other questions???

Welcome to our thread!!!

The important ones aren't overlooking Smith Co.: The coaches and the boys. So, no need to worry about that!

We haven't had a good game since Week 5 when we played McCallie, so the boys are itching for one. Personally, I don't like close games; I prefer for us to win by a large margin. BT Washington was put on the schedule to give us some competition, unfortunately it didn't work out that way. Good kids, but they didn't give us what we needed.

Our seniors aren't ready to quit playing ball. I saw a couple of them eating out on Monday, going over information from SCHS...that didn't look like they were looking ahead to me.

This team can go all the way...one game at a time. Milan or Goodpasture won't "put a stop to our glorious back to back"; we got that last year. They're looking for that glorious back to back to back!!!

my apologies. i forgot to put that last (BACK) in there. i don't like close games either unless it's someone else's game. as far as BTwashington goes they were an overrated cupcake. i guess you noticed that when they went out in the 1st round against peabody. the pollsters have to represent some memphis team in the polls and BTW was it. the only good teams to ever come out of memphis is melrose. the rest are private schools. anyway i predict SC in a close one. with milan beating GP in a close one. milan by 13 over SC at the boro. DAWGS WIN THEIR 5TH GOLD BALL.-------------GO DAWGS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I am so upset!!!...I truly didn't mean to exclude you from the shopping spree of Vettasue!!!...

Vetta...you'll have to stop in the furniture store too...they have everything!!!

Well I don't think I'll be needing any furniture, but I might have to stop by the old dollar general, do you guy have a Wally World?

    • We could sure use some math teachers country wide. Ever go into a store or restaurant and the bill comes to $9.97 and you give them a ten dollar bill and 2 pennies because you wanted a nickle back and then the meltdown starts and the next thing two more people have to come and help figure it out and the place comes to a complete halt. I see this everyday and it's a sad representation of all these schools allowing these kids out the door to get shortchanged the rest of their life.
    • I like the Pirates chances. I’ll be there as soon as work allows.
    • Stars, I heard we were searching far and wide for some math teachers. Any chance their kids bench press or 40 times are getting checked? LOL I’ve heard good things from 825.
    • I think it was expected. “Bad” luck I guess to get a couple difference maker QBs in the same class. I thought the decision was made a little early myself, but they were struggling offensively last year.  I assume the running quarterback alco had last year would be a senior this fall, and the transfer would start the following two years in addition to getting a ton of playing time this year. Maybe he waits two yrs, but I doubt it. The kid is good. So is the one who stayed.
    • I'm from Cloudland and we've never played a sectional game.  We need to win tomorrow night to avoid that bus ride.  Us and north greene can play with you guys so I'm expecting good games whoever the matchup is.
