I'm not saying it isn't deeper. Just pointing out this is not the first year it has been proclaimed as such. And playing anyone both ways is a coach's decision and arguments can be made both ways. Do you want your best 11 out there at all times, or do you want the best possible while keeping them from running out of gas late in a close game? Not saying either way is right or wrong.

 

Rankinated you are using a pretty broad brush to paint us based on "one" poster's comments. I know I for one have never said we are unbeatable. I'm assumming your jamboree references were tounge in cheek, zero relevancy to be found there.

Well last year Seymour beat Maryville in the jamboree 7-0 and they still beat Alcoa...Maryville doesn't go into jamboree's lookin to kill people....There tryin to see who can play.I'm not sayin that Alcoa tries to destroy people..Which I'm not against that.You just can't pick a winner from what you see from them in a jamboree.Especially when its Maryville.

I am hesitant to make a prediction because I have clearly jinxed Alcoa the last couple of years with my predictions. But this is my year to be right! Alcoa over Maryville, 21 to 17. Maryville will be up 17 to 14 when Alcoa scores on a long TD. I see it so clearly.....

How is it the biggest rivalry in the state? In my book a rivalry should offer up some question as to who might win.
