Coalfield starts 3 freshman and an 8th grader on the line and they are way ahead of schedule. I don't think coalfield wins this game but next year might be a different story. The 8th grader is about 6'3" 235lbs and is a good blocker who has an incredible blood line. Their rb, qb, and wr are all juniors. They are young with only about 4 seniors. They have held their own all year and they won't lay down. But I'll take SP 38-13

Your joking. These boys have to be highschool boys and that means the 9th grade. This is a bunch of mess. There is another little league for those boys that aren't 9th grade yet. I garuntee you that if the TSSAA finds out about this, they will suspend this boy. Grider better check this boys birth certificate before the game. I garuntee you that if he is 6'3 235lbs, he is older than the 8th grade. You think im joking but im not.

The boy is 13 yrs old.size is correct is a pretty good blocker for his age(he will be a beast by his sophmore yr)he is eighth grade also,k-12 can play eighth graders, coalfield is a tough physical team, they will play extremly hard, although i agree SP will win this one by three scores.

Well I know the Coalfield people dont know about me so let me explain. Once again last week I was only points off on the prediction of the week. I have been doing this for weeks. The bad news for Coalfield is that I will go ahead and tell you its going to be ugly. Im not going to give away the score yet, but I promise you it will be close to what I say. 1 more win away Pirates until we go to Cookeville. Alabama teams go to Auburn this year. Georgia teams go to the Georgia Dome. We go to Cookeville. Wow.

We used to play them in Vanderbilt. Then it went to MTSU. Now its at T.T. When its time to renew, they will be playing them out behind Butchie's house at Bethel University.

Im not falling for this mess. Grider better be asking for this boys birth certificate to make sure he is eligible. I garuntee you if he isn't and the TSSAA finds out about this, Coalfield will be suspended. I read in my Murphy Fair book about Coalfield and this boy is not listed. You think im joking but im not.

if the school has k thru 12 in the same school....like all in one building, 8th graders can play high school football if they choose. you can write a letter to the tssaa all you want but you are wasting your time.

8th graders can play if they are in the same school building. I played High School Baseball under Wilson when I was in the 8th grade and I was only 13. That kid is good size, but has his body matured enough to compete against a 6' 190 lb. machine known as Jakoby Reynolds!! Or an ox known as Colton Blevins. Better yet, I don't think that size does anything for you when by the time he sheds his blocker, our Hale storm has already passed!! Maybe I'm over confident this week, but I just don't see this being much of a problem game. last week's game was our tough game. I am sure Coalfield will be tough in some instances, but I foresee them being a lot like Moore County. Scrappy, but can't handle the speed!
