I would expect most of this to be correct swapping the HC and Powell.

GWAVE1
This is going to be an interesting week. There is a good possibility some 5-5 teams will not make it in the final 32. If your team set up a weak schedule just to get in the playoffs, you could be out of luck.

olddevil
at what point was the game delayed? what was the score? 34-28 Craigmont with about 4 minutes left in second quarter. GO BIG RED
crawdad
Did anyone besides Kenwood get bumped from the contention list? Also what happens with the East/Craigmont game? I believe that Kenwood was the only one GWAVE1, which really surprises me. I was predicting 2 or 3 teams with only 4-6 records getting in like last year. Now as you pointed out there could be some 5 win teams left out. I still think Bartlett and White Co. have uphill battles of teams trying to get to 5 that may come up short in week 10. Everyone else looks solid, so how many would that make? Lenior City over Farragut was the one nobody saw coming. That was a huge 5th win. SJohnston
The Craigmont/East game was cancelled due to another shooting...SMH. --------------------------------------------------------------------------- It was very terrifying what the news showed of guns being fired in Mempho at game..its happened several times this year alone just not in this manner THERE DOES NOT BE A PLAYOFF GAME PLAYED IN MEMPHIS..NO WAY !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! TSSAA NEEDS TO KEEP ANY AND ALL PLAYOFF GAMES SCHUDELUED IN MEMPHIS BE SCHEDULED ELSEWHERE 1! HATE FOR THE MEMPHIS KIDS / FANS WHO GIVE THEIR BEST ..THEY ARE NOT TO BLAME..Sorry for the interrupion but someones going to get hurt sooner or later there..could happen other places ,however incidents as this Must be addressed NOW!!!!! Not sure why you keep bashing Memphis every chance you get, but here is what happened. Shots were fired at an apartment complex very close to the stadium. Shots were not fired inside the stadium or behind the bleachers like other rumors said. Yes.....there are plenty of knuckleheads in Memphis. But stop lumping everywhere in Memphis in with a couple of unfortunate incidents by some fools with no sense.

I agree with you SJohnston...I will gladly travel back to Orange Mound (if Melrose was competitive) or most any other of the Memphis schools if need be...however...luckily..my team will be the number 1 seed in Quad 4 thus the Memphis schools will have to come to our community for a chance to advance! Furthermore...when we do travel to Memphis...our security officers out-numbers that in which the city of Memphis provides for that particular stadium. This is a service our sheriff's department glady provides each week as our team travels!

I feel badly for the Memphis kids / fans who give their best working towards building a future life thats basically out of their reach . I only know my experiences of teams Ive supported in years past were not very comfortable at bb or football games to say the least..having security /police tell you to All go in together ..stay on your side of field / stadium dont go to concession stands, restrooms, having to go thru metal detectors at bb games ..on leaving police telling you dont stop at stop lights pass thru them unless traffic is coming; dont stop at stop signs ..you know exactly what Im saying as you stated above with your knuckleheads statement will make a point of being nearby..yes the wanna-bees are everywhere as Ive stated ,but more so in Memphis with the larger population ..also with most schools not having their own field ,they too must play at most available nearby site You may be interested in another thread on this subject here but I know your only picking straws ! ..// QBPrez is welcome to go anytime he pleases but only has experienced Orange Mound ..he'd know more about what Im saying if he had to go elsewhere, however he did say ..most anywhere Edited October 24, 2011 by DHSFB64
