Well after last night it's clear it's McCallie and then everyone else.

I would say right now the top 4 are

McCalie

Howard

Ooltewah

Tyner

After this I think it's wide open. Of course I haven't seen Baylor, Brainerd, CCS or Red Bank but I've been told that Red Bank and CCS are down.

No doubt that Notre Dame and Sequatchie could beat teams in mtnman's top 10. In a few weeks we will know the real top 10.

Question for you Sequatchie guys where did Holland and Hudson play last year?

The fun begins tonight!!!

I dont bragg on Howard till after December when Moose has had a chance to Mold his team>>However to me they looked ok last night>>anyone that was at the game can see That McCallie went on a run aftere Moose subd his Starters>>Howard played every player last night and McCallie only played like 7! and those last two played with less than 1minute left>>With that being said I also think Tyner will beat Ooltewah>>remember they were playing East Hamilton>>and Tyner has a beast downlow and a solid Pointguard

Your boys scrimmaged who I think is the top team in Chattanooga on Saturday at East Ridge, which is McCallie.

Tyner is also going to be very tough. I watched them beat CSAS about the same way McCallie beat you guys.

After watching the scrimmage games on Saturday that were at East Ridge I would say they shake out like this.

Top Three

McCallie, Howard and Tyner

Then everyone else in no certain order.

CSAS, East Ridge, Sale Creek, Sequatchie, Silverdale, Soddy, Hamilton Heights, Bledsoe, Grace and Signal.

Now there were three games going at a time so I didn't get to see all the games and it's early plus they were just scrimmages. :thumb:

Do you know how Bledsoe done against McCallie?

bradley is at least 10 deep. the play 5 put 5 new kids in and not miss abeat!ture they will miss copeland but have others to step when needed.

With their best player hurt, Stovall out (shoulder correct me if im wrong), Chastain's hand. They other players will have to step it up and I don't see how they will be able to make up for what they've lost.

    • Understand the young thing.  I was one of those.  Barely 17 when I graduated from high school and started college.  But redshirting for athletic purposes isn't doing them any favors, in my opinion.  Life isn't always going to be fair.

    • The Girls Basketball team I am a part of played for a gold ball this season. One of the biggest differences in the sports is that there is no field prep/maintenance in basketball.   Our baseball is successful and play 30 games in the regular season as well. All of the teams dedicate A LOT of time in preparing for their next opponent.
    • Im pretty excited about the new rules that NFHS voted to adopt. Does anyone know if this will take place in Tennessee starting this year? I think I heard/read somewhere that the TSSAA bi-laws say they have to mirror what the NFHS does, and when the NFHS offered the current weight classes as options, TSSAA didn’t adopt them until NFHS made them official. Did NFHS make these changes official starting next season or will it be similar to the weight classes where TSSAA doesn’t change what they are doing until it is  an officially official part of the NFHS rule book? It’ll be interesting to see if it is rolled out for the new TSSAA Middle School season and I saw a post where the youth wrestling in TN was going to vote on adopting it as well.  I’ll pray for all the youth coaches that will have to shoulder the confusion from all those crazy #### parents who already think they know the rules more than everyone else  . Imagine the first time their kid is taken down and a 3 goes up on the scoreboard or their kid gets pinned with only one point of contact in the cylinder. Their heads might explode. i kid, I kid. Sort of. I’m surprised ride time was brought down with all the other changes. I know some argue that it promotes stalling on top, but its been an official scoring method in college forever, so I figure it must be doing something right. Do any of you think that’ll ever be implemented?
