Thinking about the teams in the district, I assume you are talking about Dyersburg. If so, just focus on getting past the first round of the playoffs.

Well, after 2 games, have folks changed their opinions of what will happen this year? How about this order :

 

Covington

Milan

Westview

Dyersburg

Crockett County

Ripley

South Gibson

Obion County

Haywood

Gibson County

 

Of course with all the head-to-head matchups still to come, this will settle out as the year goes on. Let's keep an eye on it, though.

&everybody else since all the rest of the teams are down this year with Ripley improving with a win over obion county who suppose to be good this year but isnt, so there now 2-0.

 

Covington will get Milan at home this year too so expect to see Covington come out ready & focused this game especially after last years over turned call on a 2 point conversion in the 4th.

 

Covington will take the district no doubt about it.

If I remember correctly, Covington came within inches of beating you guys last year on a supposed questionable call. It's not like Milan walked all over Covington. I'm not saying this because I'm a Milan hater or any of that, but to put things into perspective, you act like you whiped Covington off the field when it was literally a game decided by inches. Good luck to your 'dawgs this season, but show respect to opponents, especially Covington.

yeah we'll see come October 19 in Covington this year. It'll be a tremendous game.

The 8/27/12 Tennessee AP poll shows that Covington is #3 in the 4A poll, while Milan is #3 in the 3A poll. Looks pretty even to me.

So far dyersburg has moved one game due to rain and Obion has moved none!...... yet!! If it rains much you better give that dyersburg coach a piggy back ride, protect that lil' fella!
