New 3A Powerhouse

I remember two 10-0 teams going down in the first round in 99. Tullahoma and Riverdale.

 

Also seen a 6-4 Pearl Cohn team win it all.

 

Records only count till week 10.

 

I've seen Alcoa play in person several times those players are grown men.

I'm sure there has been more in the past. I remember those cause that's when I played. It was one of the biggest upsets.

10-0 is an outstanding season. like many of you posted and I agree 100%. The play offs is a different season.

Great game Hornets. Just as I said we are 10-0 perfect season. After cak fell last night there isn't many of us undefeated teams left. I didn't mean to get everyone worked up but facts are facts and this team has all the heart and talent to go all the way. haha. alcoa lost one game to #1 ranked 6A Maryville whos won more state championships since 2000 than.anyone. and they played them evenly till 4th. Hate to say it but ur not going.to beat alcoa or CAK. and regardless if milan had a bad night against Haywood. i would bet on them to beat u in.playoffs any day. u.just.dont.have the experience or.history.in playoffs as they do. you will be humbled very soon. bigbadwolf will then be smallcutepuppy. snap.back to reality. next season ur team might schedule some real nondistrict opponents...then u can see what a true 10-0 feels like...maybe the state will even realign ur district so that u play the top 2 teams...

 

 

get rid of tca and jcs...they are a joke...drop gibson co if u can...

 

add jcm...trenton...and 1 other team from jackson...usj...liberty or ss...

 

then...if u go 10-0...i wont give u too much crap...ur schedule is one of the weakest in the state...and u play in one of the toughest divisions to win a title...good luck with that

South Gibson is soon to be the 3A powerhouse everyone else will compete for second place. We are one week away from a 10-0 season and I really believe we will bring the gold ball home this year. Looking forward to playoffs there is really nothing stopping us from going all the way. Many schools on the list: CPA, Cheatham co, and several others have simply played a weak schedule and are not ready for my South Gibson Hornets. We handled Milan in regular season and are looking forward to doing it again. Really doesn't matter if CAK or Alcoa makes it to state this SGC team in only our second year of play is ready to beat them down for that gold ball. I look forward to seeing whoever makes it to a match up with us. Any thoughts.

 

CAK and Alcoa arent typical 3A teams. Those guys can compete with anyone in the state.
