well, looks like a lot of fans are looking past this game to a Gordonsville/Greenback match-up...

 

I am up in Blount County, pulling for SP. I have said all year that I wanted to come down and watch one of SP games, and maybe get Roy's autograph, and share some hot cocoa and a fudge round. Things just hasn't worked out to allow me to get down there. I love the passion you all have for your program and I visit your threads every week, just have never posted before. I will keep check on the computer Friday night, someone keep me updated as to how the game is going. Now go out there and git er done.

If SP turns it over and doesn't tackle well like they have all year it will happen. Motivation doesnt help learning how to tackle in one weeks time....You can then get on here Saturday morning and tell me how right I was..... Don't you realize???

FWIW, the pre-game predictor on highschoolsports.net has Gville winning 43-28. I'll believe it when I see it.

As far as looking past SP.

For one, it doesn't make a difference if I look past them or not. I have nothing to do with the program, just a fan.

I guarantee the players and coaches are not looking past them.

My worry is that Gville starter's have only played one quarter in two weeks.

And the starters haven't played past halftime since Oct. 5. There very well could be some rustiness.

Should be interesting since SP is not the same team as last year & neither is Gordy. I think it is VERY dangerous if you just try to outscore your opponent. Defense gives you second chances when you make mistakes, so it is a big factor if that is your weakness come playoff time.

 

When SP faced Polk, I was worried about how we would respond - when they got behind, they showed heart & did not quit. A fan can't ask for more - win or lose!!

 

Bec I am a Pirate fan, win or lose I will be supporting our team. No rose colored glasses on - I cheer for our boys.

There is a Logan's in Mt. Juliet in Providence which is about 5-10 west from 840 if you take that way or if you stay straight 24 then you go right past it... Providence has about everything- Logan's, O' Charleys, Red Lobster, Olive Garden, Cheddars, Red Robin, Wasabi(japanese steakhouse/hibachi) plus several other places- the Longhorns is not done

Traintracks, let me ask you a question. I was reading in my Murphy Fair book and I only my book says that Marshall man only has 13 seniors. What kind of mess is this? Is thus Marshall man trying to sneak some boys in? I garuntee you these boys are real mean though. You think im joking but im not.
