Class AA State Tournament Thread

...CPA has 9 juniors, 1 sophomore and 1 freshman- after the "hand picked" team graduates in May 2014 what happens then?...

As we all "know," successful programs automatically and naturally draw the best players. Course if that's the case, not sure why such an imbalance between grade levels. Maybe nothing more than an anomaly, maybe those savvy parents out there simply waiting for some playing time to open up before making the contact to begin the admissions process.

Dear CPA....These teams are scared of you that is why this entire post is about you...I am here to say that win lose or draw there is one team that is located on the Tennessee/Georgia state line that looses players every year to Private Schools, and Georgia schools....This team has the most ever state appearances in the state and has not won a TSSAA championship in bball...This team is the Howard Hustlin Tigers....I just want you to know that they will be glad to play you in the first round or anyother time during this tournament.....Bottom line is i think everyone is scared of you but we will welcome a ballgame anytime with you ...Lets do it

....and those type of wishes are probably why you guys don't have a state championship. No one wants to play CPA until the state championship....

this year that is true, but last year and year before, what about bradshaw? i know for a fact he played at greenbrier his freshmen and sophmore year.

It's almost hilarious to read the "persecuted" public school fans complain about CPA getting an unfair advantage. For years, for example, Smith Co. football posters whined about this issue, then last summer when they had a good QB transfer to their school from BA (a private school), they were fine with it, and said they were glad to get him. I can name 10-15 great athletes over the years that transferred AWAY from CPA to public schools (due to grades or discipline issues) or to other D-II private schools (to get a full ride). One thing will never change: some face life and work harder, some whine and quit.
