Two gone from team. 77&3 got dismissed this week so depth just took a hit. Unfortunate but it happens. Hope they both respond positively and this makes them come back hungry next year

Old Pirate says congrats to coach Tim for ridding the team of uncoachable/undisciplined youngons! Shape up get on board or be gone. Hope the remaining youngons will continue to work and focus weekly on the next rung of the ladder that leads to the gold ball.

I went back and thought about all the years I played and I can not remember of a single person ever being suspended by the coach and we had some characters. Sad that players don't understand that there is repercussions for their actions. The sad thing is they don't think about the team they just think that they are missing a game. Seniors need to step up and kick up into some butt.

Old Pirate says players were far more respectful back-n-the day. Obviously there are some really undisciplined youngons today. It is sad the parents of these youngons have done such a poor job teaching & raising them to have respect and discipline. Sadly, it doesn't look like the seniors know how to lead the team properly.

Time for the team and younger youngons to focus on the Bucs

I don't want my comments to be taken wrong. I'm not just talking about my Pirates. I'm talking about them and all other programs as well. I do think that Coach Moore will get this taken care of and make good teams now and in the future. It takes the first step and he is taking it. Would anyone like to guess what Coach Don Grider and Dave Baxters first step would be. Definitely different generation but you have to have confidence and hope for all these young men playing the game we love that they can figure it out.

Ain't gonna happen, leadership starts at home.Kids without good homes lack disapline. The sad thing is,its not the kids fault. They are just a product of their inviroment.

Yeah i do the same thing but a scripture always comes to mind. It will wax worse until the end. I'm not a profit but it seems to be coming to pass. The whole world is a screwed up mess.

Amen to that brother

What??  Scripture??  Amen??  Careful you two or else that Wisconsin FFRF group will be trying to close down CoachT.

    • I remember very well watching things change in the late 80's and yes it's all schools. Most people that are in charge today have any idea because they were raised and taught under this social experiment so they don't have a clue. Anyone that does see the truth for what it is usually try and hide it by blending in so that the School Gestapo doesn't round them up and take them to the Fuhrer ( kindly putting it ). Yes it is all schools not just Maryville. This train ride is not headed in a good direction and if the public had seen a movie of what's happening now back in 1980 everyone would have been headed home afterwards to change underware.
    • Hoping to make the playoffs.
    • You are so correct!  It’s really 99.9% of academia want to change to way that education is not only taught but the way it is viewed.  The pendulum has definitely swung as far to the left as possible and eventually will swing to the right much too far.  I have always  said that politics and one’s personal religious views need to stay out of education,  but for the last 40 years education has been running full throttle to what we have today.  If the social experiment that we are currently experiencing continues it is only a matter of time before the public school system in the USA completely collapses and all kids attend private schools or even worse don’t go to school.
    • He was a bruise but Aaron Dykes is HVA’s best RB ever.
    • I am talking about what they both did for their team. They both carried their team for four years while they were both there. I wasn’t really comparing them that would be unfair. Bishop is on a level of his own.
