Well, you seem very passionate when you say that Alcoa recruits, but now you're missing your chance to supposedly prove what you're saying. Saying that you know it happened means nothing without proof. To me you're just coming off as another Alcoa hater because we're as successful as we are. Saying that we recruit is what everyone that we steamroll seems to do, so keep on I guess.....

Ducking game last year .. taking my football and leaving .. CRYING !!! Also 30-6 game yall deserved to win but game was 10-0 with 8 mins in 4th Qtr so it wasnt a blowout but yes you guys had a better game for sure.

Alcoa and Fulton don't play every year? Why not?

It is a known FACT that Rankin DID op out of playing Fulton last year. Was even In the dang paper. We both know Alcoa and Fulton were both great. But if you tur tail and run? Lokh weak, or just plan scared. They should play every year. Only as good as your opp. As far as having 2/3 games in ten days? Those teams aren't very good. Should be a cake walk.

Where in the paper did it say that? And no, Alcoa didn't "back down" from anybody. It is a known fact that Jody Wright proposed moving Loudon to District 5, leaving Alcoa scrambling to find 6 non-district games. As for 3 games in 9 days, we didn't have much choice. We called over 80 teams trying to find a 10th game, but no one else wanted Alcoa on their schedule.

Our form of retaliation for Jody Wright's move behind our backs was to make the black birds go all the way to Hopkinsville, Kentucky to find a game. That's what happened there. If you don't believe it, consider your sources.
