He moved in to Carters zone. He is averaging 27.5 ppg and 13 reb on a team averaging 111. Carter has been to state 3 of the last 5 years But, Fulton has been to quit a few and won 2 I think.

But why? Sounds like he is a star. Not familiarwith carter. How do they score so much. What is their competition like Not sure about being in state 3 of last 5 years. What years was it.

Carter plays in the same district as Fulton. They went to the state in 08-09, 09-10, and last year.

They run a thing they call system, It was made famous by Paul Westhead at Loyola Marymount back in the late 80's early 90's. Hardin Valley is running it now also.

This is his second year. They were loaded in 08-10. I think Lester Wilson is starting for ETSU ans is/was a feral athlete. It is fun to watch. Hardin Valley beat them Tuesday 121-114. That's 7.5 points per minute. Better have plenty of bulbs for the scoreboard!

CAK was able to control the pace with Hardin Valley this week and win 78-63.  When Hardin Valley gets rolling they are  good.

Catholic defeats Oak Ridge in the championship game of 15th annual Freshman Shoot-Out 67-60. The Irish played without their leading scorer who was sick with the flu. Powell defeated William Blount 79-70 in overtime to finish 3rd, Dobyns-Bennett defeated Heritage 51-48 in the 5th place game and Oakdale defeated West 61-49 for 7th place.

Keep reading a player from Fulton transferred to Carter. Why would a player leave the best basketball program east of Nashville. Seems like Fulton has been to a bunch of state tournaments and think they won a few.[/quote

 

 

Kelvin Jackson is the player....seems to be flourishing in Boydstone's hi-octane offense...Who would'nt want to play in a style where you have the freedom to play fast....read where Carter is avg. 111.8 pts. per game....need to go see them play!!

Alcoa has had a slow start, but that will definitely change when the football players come back. Freshman Mekhi Carter has played well for us, and he'll be even better if he can be consistent. Junior Garrett Anderson can still shoot the 3 well.

 

We're off until Wednesday, Dec. 10 when we host Webb. That'll be our first game with the full team.

So you're saying Joby Boydstone doesn't hold his players accountable?
